Was waren deine Gründe, kreativ zu sein, wann und wie bist du dazu gekommen?

Ich war schon immer von Künstlern umgeben, vor allem von Fotografen. Ich habe zwar etwas spät damit angefangen, aber meine Liebe zur Kunst und zur Fotografie, gepaart mit meinen Computerkenntnissen, hat den Rest erledigt.

Wie stehst du zu nationalen und internationalen politischen Dingen – hast du eine Meinung dazu?

Als Liebhaber von Wanderungen und Reisen mache ich mir große Sorgen darüber, wohin sich die Menschheit entwickelt. Es ist beunruhigend, dass wir von Idioten und Menschen mit wenig Bildung regiert werden. Es gibt ein Sprichwort, das besagt: „Wenn du Politiker bist, bist du nicht intelligent, und wenn du intelligent bist, wirst du niemals Politiker sein.“

Du stehst auf farbenprächtige Motive, wie man bei deinen Fotos sieht. Was bedeuten für dich kräftige Farben?

Es ist eine Art, Fotos zu gestalten. Ich weiß von Kennern, dass ich Farben stark übertreibe, aber das ist mein Markenzeichen. In der Fotografie gibt es immer Puristen, die sich geweigert haben, Digitalfotos zu machen, und analoge Aufnahmen bevorzugt haben. Inzwischen sind sie alle auf Digitalfotografie umgestiegen.

Für mich war Musik besonders als junger Mensch oft ein Problemlöser, oder eine Möglichkeit mit Ärger zurechtzukommen. Was gibt dir gute Musik?

Ohne Musik könnte ich nicht leben. Viele Jahre lang war ich Vorsitzender eines Bluesfestivals, das in meiner Stadt stattfindet und zu den ältesten des Bundesstaates zählt.

Was sind sonst noch künstlerische Interessen in deinem Leben?

Ich mag Kunst in all ihren Facetten sehr gerne; wann immer ich auf Reisen bin, besuche ich Museen und gehe auch zu Konzerten.

Was hältst du von der Familie, hat sie in deinem Land noch den Stellenwert wie vor 30 Jahren?

Die Rolle der Familie hat sich im Laufe der Zeit gewandelt; es gibt viele verschiedene Sichtweisen auf das familiäre Umfeld – es muss nicht unbedingt aus einer Frau, einem Mann und Kindern bestehen. Jeder Mensch kann so leben, wie er es für richtig hält.

Magst du Menschen – siehst du über ihre Fehler hinweg oder gibt es da konträre Meinungen?

Ich habe großen Respekt vor anderen Menschen und übe niemals Kritik. Die Freundschaft steht für mich an erster Stelle.

Manche ohnehin schon schönen Fotos bearbeitest du, dann sind sie oft überirdisch beeindruckend (z. B.: flickr.com/) Wie kommt es dazu?

Zuerst muss man sich die Umgebung ansehen, sich das Foto vorstellen, das man aufnehmen möchte, und dann beginnt auf der Originalaufnahme eine lange Phase der Bearbeitung, bei der Filter und andere Techniken zum Einsatz kommen. (Falls jemand daran interessiert ist, kann ich gerne privat weitere Details nennen).

Einen Sinn für wunderschöne Objekte zu haben, ist ein Geschenk! Ich glaube, hier im kreativen Bereich dürfte KI so schnell nicht aufholen. Was denkst du?

Ich habe erst vor kurzem damit angefangen. KI fördert die Kreativität. Im Moment macht es Spaß, mal sehen, wie sich das alles entwickelt. Ihr findet mich unter: flickr.com/ – vor weniger als einem Jahr hatte ich bereits 2 Millionen Follower.

Wie wichtig ist dir Anerkennung von Menschen, die deine Kunst erleben?

Jobove Reus is a Spanish artist who lives in Catalonia, an autonomous community in northeastern Spain. He is a photographer and musician. He is active on many artistic platforms online. What motivated you to be creative? When and how did you get into it?

I always lived among artists, especially photographers, I got into it a little late, but my love of art and photography, together with computer skills, did the rest.

What are your views on national and international political issues—do you have an opinion on them?

As a lover of hiking and traveling, I am very concerned about where humanity is heading. It is worrying that we are governed by idiots and people with little culture. There is a saying that says "if you are a politician, you are not intelligent and if you are intelligent you will never be a politician".

You love colorful motifs, as seen in your photos. What do bold colors mean to you?

It is a way of creating photographs, I know from those who know that I abuse color a lot, but it is my sign of identity. In photography you will always find purists, those who refused to take digital photos, preferring analog ones. Now they have all gone digital.

For me, especially as a young person, music was often a problem-solver or a way to cope with trouble. What does good music give you?

I couldn't live without music. For many years I was the president of a blues festival, which is held in my city and is one of the oldest in the state.

What other artistic interests do you have in your life?

I really like art, in all its facets, whenever I travel I go to museums and I also go to music concerts.

What do you think of the family? Does it still hold the same importance in your country as it did 30 years ago?

The role of family has changed over time, there are many ways to perceive the family environment, it doesn't have to be a woman, a man, children. Each person is free to live as they see fit.

Do you like people—do you overlook their flaws, or do you have a different opinion on this?

I respect people a lot and never criticize. I prefer the role of friendship above all else.

You edit some photos that are already beautiful, and then they often look absolutely stunning (e.g., flickr.com/). How do you do that?

First you have to look at the environment, see the photo you want to take, and on the original, here begins a long period of creation, based on filters and other techniques. (If anyone is interested, I can give details privately).

Having an eye for beautiful objects is a gift! I don’t think AI will catch up in the creative field anytime soon. What do you think?

How important is it to you to receive recognition from people who experience your art?

I always appreciate comments and visits as a courtesy, nothing more.
